PLP’s research team in made up of Research Fellows, who focus on specific projects and are led by the Research Director, Dr Joe Tomlinson. To support the work of the Research Director and the research team, PLP is recruiting a Research Assistant. Approximately 50% of the Research Assistant’s time will be spent supporting the Research Director’s functions, with the other 50% being spent assisting with the development of a new “public law and technology” focus area within PLP. The former aspect of the role will include both administrative work (e.g. organising research meetings) and ad hoc research tasks. The latter aspect will include work programme and project development specially related to technology. The post provides the ideal opportunity for a junior lawyer to develop their research and strategic legal skills in a fast-paced environment.
