PLP regret that due to our current capacity levels, we do not routinely accept enquiries which fall outside our current priority areas. These can be found here. Your enquiry will be read and if we are able to look into your enquiry further, we will be in touch within 10 days. Unfortunately, if we are unable to assist you, we will not be able to respond. However, there are many ways in which we may still be able to help: Our advice sheets and guides on common public law issues are available in the resource library section of our website. We may be able to take on individual cases that are referred to us by other lawyers, advisors, MPs or voluntary groups. This means that that the referrers contact us on your behalf. If we are unable to help, we may be able to signpost you to other lawyers or agencies that can. We have an up-to-date list of legal aid providers specialising in public law and national coverage advice organisations, with short descriptions of the areas they give advice on. Please note that all our publications, advice and case work cover the law in England and Wales only. The leaflets on this site are for information only. You should not construe information on this site as being directly applicable to your own case. You should always seek advice on your specific circumstances from a lawyer who specialises in public law. Please be aware PLP is a small charity specialising in public law matters. Our casework team have limited capacity and very rarely take on new enquiries directly from members of the public. You should instead contact your local law centre, Citizens Advice or the Civil Legal Advice line on 0345 345 4 345. Please email [email protected]
