PLP’s EU Settlement Scheme Hub was launched in 2019 to monitor the roll out and operation of the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS). Our goal is to ensure that the EUSS operates fairly and lawfully, promotes access to justice, and protects the interests of marginalised groups.

As part of this work, we offer free legal advice to frontline organisations who are assisting vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals with complex EUSS applications and appeals. Since the Hub launched, we have advised NGOs, advice organisations, charities and law centres on cases raising a wide range of issues.

We also work with these organisations to identify unlawfulness in the operation of the EUSS and, in appropriate cases, take on referrals to advise on how to address this, including by way of strategic public law litigation.

If you are an adviser working with vulnerable migrants and would like free-of-charge advice on a complex EUSS case, please email us: EUSSenquiries@publiclawproject.org.uk.
