Based on our Guide to Public Interest Interventions, this 2-hour webinar combines procedural guidance with practical insights and tips from legal experts, experienced interveners on how to use third-party interventions strategically in judicial review and other legal proceedings. 

This training is for

  • Charities, NGOs, and campaigning groups with an interest or involved in interventions 
  • Public law lawyers and legal aid practitioners involved in public interest litigations 

The speakers will cover

  • The role and importance of public interest interventions 
  • Identifying suitable cases and managing procedural and costs issues 
  • Preparation for evidence and submissions 
  • Using interventions to support wider advocacy and campaigning for social change 

Ticket pricing

  • Standard: £60 – For practitioners in private practice, and those working for a governmental or regulatory body. 
  • Discounted: £50 – For charities, NGOs, trainee lawyers, academics, and those working in the charity or voluntary sector 
  • Contributory: £30 – For those working in small organisations with very little or no training budget, or those with limited resources but wish to contribute 
  • Student: £20 – For full time students with a valid university email address
