Costs and funding in judicial review

Practical, bite-size seminars delivered online via Zoom over three days covering costs and funding in judicial review (JR).

All sessions will be recorded and made available to attendees afterward.

Who should attend?

Solicitors, trainees and paralegals, some advisers (if relevant), and anyone tasked with legal strategy in an organisation with a public law contract, or an NGO / charity using the law for the benefit of their clients.

An understanding of how and when to challenge LAA funding refusals refusals
A thorough discussion of the different costs issues in JR, crowd funding and litigation funding.
A horizon-scanning discussion on current and future issues in legal aid and relevant recent research.

This introductory session will serve as a practical guide for making legal aid applications.
