Please support Team PLP in the Royal Parks Half 2021!

All PLP places for the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 10 October are now filled!

If you want to run with Team PLP at the Royal Parks but have not currently got a space, then please email events@publiclawproject.org.uk telling us you want to sign up to our list of backup runners to replace drop-outs. However, it should be noted that the possibility of drop-outs is highly unlikely.

A big thank you to all of our runners for signing up! Training and fundraising is now underway and you can help our runners reach their fundraising targets!

If you would like to support our runners please visit their fundraising pages below.

Please come and support Team PLP on the day! (Sunday 10 October) There are opportunities to spectate all around the course; more information can be found here. More information for Team PLP spectators will be available shortly.

Just to reassure you:

  • Royal Parks are continually reviewing the government guidance/best practice in the industry and are working with other major UK event organisers to ensure the safe return of mass participation sports events outdoors
  • This includes staggered arrivals and increased hand sanitisation and have the ability to bring in social distancing across the course and in the funnel/villages if needed
  • If needed they will include lateral flow test checks as other sporting events have
  • Royal parks also want to highlight that ‘We have worked with the industry worldwide which has highlighted extensive scientific research that the risk of transmission of Covid-19 outdoors is negligible.’
  • And there’s a new route which you can view, here.
  • More information about the race can be found at the Royal Parks Half Marathon website, here. If you want to run for PLP but don’t want to join a mass sporting event, or sign up and then decide things have changed, you can run your own route separately, wherever you want to, and we’ll support your efforts and fundraising with the same huge thanks and TEAM PLP camaraderie and enthusiasm!
