Take a stand for a fair society. Help ensure future generations have access to justice.

Our human rights and the rule of law are increasingly under threat. The global rise of authoritarianism, the fracturing of society, and unfettered use of technology is threatening the rule of law whilst millions of people in the UK, particularly underserved communities, are suffering from the effects of increased economic marginalisation and the growing impact of climate change.

The future is uncertain, but leaving a gift in your Will to the Public Law Project will provide hope for future generations and help to build a fair and inclusive society secured by a just and confident state.

Since 1990, with the expertise of our clients and partners, we’ve held power to account by challenging the government’s Rwanda immigration policy, supporting members of the Windrush generation to secure justice, and scrutinising how AI is used in public decision-making.

By leaving a gift in your Will, you will enable this vital work to continue now and long into the future.

Why leave a gift in your Will?

Writing your Will is a chance to consider your legacy. Having an up-to-date Will helps reduce the stress and confusion for your loved ones after you’re gone.

As well as remembering friends and family, many people use this as an opportunity to support the causes they care about most. Gifts in Wills are amongst the most generous, most impactful forms of support received by UK charities.

Bequests to the Public Law Project are also exempt from Inheritance Tax and may reduce the rate on tax on the rest of your estate. Your solicitor will be able to give you more information about Inheritance Tax.
