Sara Lomri joins PLP as Deputy Legal Director

The Public Law Project is pleased to announce that Sara Lomri will be joining us as our Deputy Legal Director.  Sara will take up the newly created post in November. PLP’s Director, Jo Hickman said: “We are very happy to be welcoming Sara to our team at this exciting time!”

Sara will come to PLP from Bindmans, where she has established a highly regarded practice in public law and civil liberties. Her current professional profile is here.

John Halford, joint head of Bindmans’ Public Law and Human Rights Department said: “We are obviously sad to lose Sara who has been a creative and committed lawyer here since her first days as a trainee, but delighted she will be able to use her formidable skills to support PLP’s pioneering work.”

Sara will be joining PLP’s Senior Management Team shortly after Alison Pickup takes up her post as PLP’s newly appointed Legal Director.
