Public Law Project Published: 12th May 2016 We welcome the opportunity to provide written evidence to the Bach Commission. The evidence sets out our direct experience of the impact of the LASPO cuts , and the conclusions that we are able to draw from that experience. Our starting premise is that justice must be accessible to all , regardless of means , and that this requires the component parts of the justice system to be adequately funded and resourced. In an adversarial court system , this will necessarily include funding of lawyers.
