Ahead of our upcoming conference “Public Law and the Planet,” we bring you this introductory, standalone webinar on public law for environmental campaigners.

  • Date: Tuesday 24 February
  • Time: 11:00–12:30
  • Location: Online via Zoom

Event summary

How can you use complaints, appeals processes and the courts to protect the environment?

Public law provides various ways to challenge or influence Government decision making, from local authority planning decisions, to complaints to environmental regulators, and full blown court cases through judicial review challenging Government policy implementation. This is a beginners’ guide to these processes, and how they can work as parts of a campaign.

Brought to you in partnership with King’s Legal Clinic, the Centre for Climate Law and Governance and Landmark Chambers.
